BIC delegation visits government leaders of Luannan county and made donation to Luanan Banpu Special Education School

On June 5, in the company of Ma Guoxiang, GM of Tangshan Banpu, and Chen Shangguang, DGM of Tangshan Banpu, BIC delegation led by Mr. Pilun Pochanart, CEO of Banpu China and Chairman of Tangshan Banpu, paid a visit to the leaders of Luannan County Committee and County Government, and carried out a donation activity.

Mr. Pilun and his delegation had a meeting with Ms. Lv Suqing, Secretary of the County Committee, Mr. Hou Xinhong, Mayor of Luannan County at the meeting room of Luannan County Administration Office Center.

Mr. Pilun expressed his gratitude to the Luannan County Committee and County Government for their long-term support to Tangshan Banpu. He stated that the company is actively promoting the green and low-carbon transformation for sustainable development, while maintaining stable operations to provide energy service support for new and expanded projects in the county, and supporting the development of Luannan County. Ms. Lv extended warm welcome to Mr. Pilun and his team, highly appreciating Tangshan Banpu's long-term contributions to Luannan's economic and social development as well as public welfare initiatives. She hoped that both sides would further strengthen communication and exchanges, carry out in-depth cooperation in areas such as green energy project construction, industrial digitization and circular economy, jointly promoting win-win development between the government and the enterprise.

Subsequently, Mr. Pilun and Ms. Jia Xiumei, Deputy Mayor, visited Luannan Banpu Special Education School and carried out donation activity. President Pilun, on behalf of BIC and Tangshan Banpu, donated laptops worth 50,000 yuan to the school.

In his speech, Mr. Pilun stated that caring for children with disabilities is a significant initiative by BIC and Tangshan Banpu to fulfill corporate social responsibilities and adhere to ESG principles, expressing the company’s commitment to contributing to the healthy growth of these children. Tangshan Banpu will continue to uphold its social responsibilities, collaborating with the County Party Committee, County Government, and the County Education Bureau to advance the development of special education in Luannan County.

Principal Sun Haibin stated that the long-term care and support provided by Tangshan Banpu to the school has become a significant driving force for the school's development. In May this year, the special education school became one of the first pilot schools in Tangshan for autism courses. The donated laptops this time have truly addressed the urgent needs of teachers for office work and professional development.

Deputy Mayor Jia expressed her heartfelt thanks to Banpu for its long-standing support to Luannan Banpu Special Education School. The donation from Tangshan Banpu has consistently propelled the advancement of special education, significantly driving the development of special education services in Luannan County.

Following the donation ceremony, Mr. Pilun and his delegation watched a meticulously prepared performance by teachers and students. On stage, students overcame physical challenges to demonstrate the resilience and beauty of life through their innocent smiles and dedicated performances, deeply moving everyone present.
