Tangshan Banpu Supports Lighting Up Rural Roads

In 2025, in response to Tangshan Municipal Party Committee's deployment of "Four Grassroots Initiatives”, Luannan County organized county-level departments and key enterprises to pair up and provide targeted assistance to economically disadvantaged villages facing development challenges. Among these efforts, the Luannan County Emergency Management Bureau and Tangshan Banpu jointly partnered to support Xiyiliu Village in Angezhuang Town.

Xiyiliu Village covers an area of 3.07 square kilometers with a resident population of about 800 people. The village primarily relies on traditional crop cultivation and poultry-livestock farming, resulting in relatively slow economic growth and weak infrastructure. The lack of public lighting, in particular, has caused significant inconvenience for villagers traveling at night and posed safety hazards.

Following thorough research, Tangshan Banpu and the Luannan County Emergency Management Bureau accurately identified the villagers' needs and donated 20,000 yuan in special funds to Xiyiliu Village for the implementation of the "Streetlight Project." In July 2025, 25 new solar-powered streetlights were installed and put into use along the village's main road, Ping'an Road.

This assistance project effectively addressed the villagers' nighttime travel difficulties, improved the overall village environment, and enhanced the quality of life and sense of security for the residents. Villagers expressed their gratitude, saying, "These streetlights not only illuminate our roads but also warm our hearts."

This donation exemplifies Tangshan Banpu's commitment to fulfilling social responsibilities and engaging in local public welfare, vividly reflecting the company's corporate culture of "Banpu Heart".
