The 20th Anniversary Celebration of Banpu Table Tennis Club and the Donation Ceremony Held in Zhengding

On the morning of Nov 1, Shijiazhuang Chengfeng Cogen. Co., Ltd. and Hebei Zhengding National Table Tennis Training Base jointly organized the 20th Anniversary Celebration of Banpu Table Tennis Club and the Donation Ceremony. Mr. Pilun Pochanart, CEO of Banpu China, Mr. Prakay Yoknamngoen, Deputy Head of Power Operations and the BIC management team were invited to attend the event and were warmly welcomed by the leaders of the Base, coaches and athletes of the Club.

Mr. Fan Zhiyu, Director of the Hebei Zhengding National Table Tennis Training Base,  introduced the development of the Club since its establishment 20 years ago as well as the brilliant achievements it has made.

In his speech, Mr. Pilun delivered warm congratulations to the Club on its 20^th anniversary, highly appraised the outstanding achievements of the athletes and expressed his gratitude to the leaders of the Base for their strong support to the Club. Mr. Pilun said that the Club has not only contributed to the development of the local society and economy, but also become a bridge of friendship and cultural exchange between China and Thailand.

After the donation ceremony, Mr. Pilun and his team played table tennis with the athletes and visited the Memorial Hall of China's Table Tennis Achievements guided by Director Fan.

Zhengding Plant has been sponsoring Banpu Table Tennis Club for 20 consecutive years since 2003. With the joint efforts of both of the partners, the Club has trained and delivered a large number of professional athletes to the society, achieved excellent results in domestic and international competitions, and, at the same time, promoted the Chinese and foreign sports and cultural exchanges, and made a positive contribution to the development of the table tennis.
